EUROPEAN NETWORK SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Anglia Examinations' HQ in Chichester is pleased to announce with immediate effect, the setting up of a scholarship fund for test fees. The fund will be sufficient to offer scholarships to 100 candidates across the network. There will be a mixture of full and partial scholarships offered; some will be 100% fee-free, some will be discounted fees.
To be eligible, candidates must have undertaken Anglia Examinations preparation at a school or institute over a period of at least three months, and have expressed an interest in taking an appropriate level test. There is no age limit. Young learners, school students and adult learners are all eligible. Any level from First Step to Masters can be applied for. Schools must apply on behalf of candidates. A school may apply to the ENSF for one of two reasons:
- A student is to be rewarded for exceptional achievement in their last level taken e.g. a distinction grade of over 95% in First Step to Preliminary levels or 90% in Elementary to Proficiency levels in at least three of the four skills.
Application to the fund does noy mean that a scholarship will be definitely granted. The fund is a finite resource and scholarships will be granted on the judgement of the Scholarship Committee. Their decision will be final. Once used, the fund is finished. However, it wll be renewed each Anglia year, from August 1st through to July 31st.
The Scholarship Committee will consist of the following senior executives and staff at Anglia Examinations: One board Director; the Chief Executive; the Academic Director; the Head of IT and Operations; the Head of Marketing and Business Operations.
Application will be made by simply filling in the form, available via the main office in Paphos, and sending it direct to:
[email protected] putting in the subject line 'ANESF Application'.
The closing date for applications is six weeks before the test is due to take place. No applications closer to the time of the test can be accepted.
Once the application has been received, a response will be sent to you via your representative within six working days.
Once the fund has been used for the year, an announcement will be made to that effect on the Anglia Examinations website www.anglia.org
