INVITATION
CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS
Dear Colleagues,
Anglia Examinations HQ and its representatives in Cyprus cordially invite you to attend their 25th Anniversary Conferences in October.
Session 1: (about 60 minutes)
Paper Updates
In 2019, the papers will undergo reaccreditation with AIM Awards. Of course, everyone wants to know, 'Will there be many changes made to the papers next year?' Come and find out.
What we know vs. what we do
The reality of classroom teaching often means that, while we know what we should do, what we actually do may be quite different. What can we do, or try to do, about this mismatch between ideal and reality? During this session, we will be looking at some practical activities to help bridge the gap.
Coffee Break
Session 2: (about 60 minutes)
Review of the year
A look at performance in the 2018 exams
CART/CARAT Anglia Marking
How and why? In this session, Liz will provide inside information on the CART/CARAT marking system, with practical examples to help teachers prepare their students for the written components of the exam.
Closing words, 25th Anniversary, award ceremony and raffle (20-30 minutes)
Burlington Publications material will be distributed during the events.
The venues are:
PAPHOS FRIDAY 19/10/2018 9.30 a.m. ALMYRA HOTEL
